Must have worked as a Lead Piping Stress Analysis Engineer or an Assistant Lead Piping Stress Analysis Engineer for oil refinery projects and gas processing projects
- Check and review ITB documents
- Make clarification/deviation lists of ITB documents
- Prepare piping stress analysis procedures
- Analyze piping stresses for critical lines using CAESAR II etc, to realize stable piping systems
- Instruct and/or review piping loading data to other disciplines
- Prepare specifications for piping mechanical supports, such as bellows, spring & snubber, etc.
- Prepare supports package including special supports design
- Prepare piping stress analysis reports
- Check and review vendor documents for piping mechanical supports
- Instruct and coordinate subordinates, such as junior piping stress analysis engineers
- Coordinate and/or negotiate with clients, vendors and other discipline engineers
Desired Experience: The Piping Stress Analysis Engineer shall have the following minimum experience and knowledge:
- 5 years or more of experience inpiping engineering, including piping engineering at the construction site
- Piping arrangements and piping drawings
- PipingIT and 3D CAD
- Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other technical standard such as ASME, API, MSS, BS
- Knowledge of contractor’s own standards and major client standards – DEP, EGE, BP
- Good English communication skills
- Knowledge of standard international styles of business communication and experience in the preparation of business and technical documentation.
